Niisawa Brewery brewed sake in Osaki-shi for 140 years, but after being damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake, they now produce their sake in the town of Kawasaki. Based on the concept "the ultimate dinner sake," their high-quality sake is brewed pursuing the best compatibility with food. It is well-received not just in Japan, but around the world as well. Representative brands are "Hakurakusei" and "Atagonomatsu."

Onuma Shuzo（大沼酒造店）
Onuma Shuzo is located in the town of Murata, known for its storehouses. They have used careful brewing methods for 300 yeats, utilizing traditional techniques to make all their sake in small batches. They have a strong preference for using Miyagi Prefecture "Sasanishiki" rice, which has an excellent reputation for imbuing sake with a mellow savory taste and dryness. A representative brand is "Kenkonichi."

A brewery located for 140 years in Yuriage, facing the sea, Sasaki Brewery was completely destroyed in the 2011 tsunami. After the disaster, they soon resumed brewing in temporary facilities, not giving in to the difficulties of their situation. They've become much talked about for brewing an astonishly high-quality sake. Now they're rebuilding a brewery at Yuriage, which will be completed in 2020. Representative brands are "Yuri" and "Nami no Oto."

Zao Shuzo（蔵王酒造）
Located at the foot of the Zao mountains, Zao Shuzo takes advantage of the good water and rice produced in the majestic nature of Zao to brew high-quality sake.
