Okama

Okama was named due to the Hoshiki-numa, 5 volcanic crators surrounding both Miyagi Prefecture's katta-gun and Shibata-gun. The lake itself sports an emerald green color, and compared to the volcanic creators is a very peaceful and mysterious atmosphere, there have been multiple eruptions over the year, the latest one was in the 28th year of the Meiji era on February the 15th.
